Xi'an is the capital of Shaanxi province and it is known worldwide for its terracotta warriors from the Emperor Qin Shi Huang time. But in addition to the Warriors, Xi'an has many other attractions: it is considered the eastern departure point of the Silk Road and has a well preserved wall that is real must. It was built during the Ming Dynasty (1374-1378). It is rectangular shaped and it has 14km long, 12 meters tall and between 15 and 18 meters wide. The amazing thing is that the entire wall is still standing. The photos show some examples.

Xi´an es la capital de la provincia de Shaanxi en China y conocida mundialmente por los gerreros de terracota del emperador Qin Shi Huang. Pero además de los guerreros, Xi´an tiene muchos otros atractivos: está considerada el extremo oriental de la Ruta de la Seda y tiene una muralla que es obligado visitar. Fue construida durante la Dinastía Ming (1374-1378) y tiene 14km de largo, 12 metros de altura y entre 15 y los 18 metros de ancho. Tiene forma rectangular y, lo asombroso, es que la totalidad de la muralla sigue en pie y muy bien conservada. Las fotos os muestran algún ejemplo de las torres de observación de la muralla.
